June 2024 - The Highway 652 extension to Highway 11 project is still in the Planning stage. The project team is continuing to collect information on the alignment alternatives.
February 21, 2023 - An additional opportunity for input on the Highway 652 extension alignment alternatives was provided through an online questionaire. The Post PIC 1 – Alignment Alternatives Questionnaire closed on April 28, 2023 and that input will be considered during the evaluation of alternatives.
December 2, 2021 - A Notice of Study Design Report Review Period and Online Public Information Centre 1 will be published in the Cochrane Times-Post (in English and French) on December 9th, 2021 and has been distributed to property owners in the study area, Provincial and Federal Government Agencies, Municipalities, Indigenous communities, and stakeholders.
December 2, 2021 - A business-owner survey is being conducted to collect information on industry types, seasonality of business operations, and reliance on traffic-based revenue for businesses. The survey is available at the following link: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/YWVGLZN until February 11th, 2022.
September 30, 2021 - A Notice of Study Commencement has been posted in the Cochrane Times-Post (in English and French) and distributed to property owners in the study area, Provincial and Federal Government Agencies, Municipalities, Indigenous communities, and stakeholders. At this time, the project team is gathering existing information about the study area.
